We offer free coffee and tea, plus we have cool water available. The soda will cost you though. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Star Wars Trade & Play night is every Saturday starting at 7 p.m. Come trade cards with other players to help complete your collection and strengthen your deck. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>We have tables for open gaming any hour we're open. You'll often find folks playing Magic, Legend of the Five Rings, Mythos, Dragon Dice, Middle Earth or Star Wars. This summer you'll often find players setting up a game of Necromunda, too. There are games of Vampire in the store, and AD&D players hang out here too!</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Certain days have scheduled gaming (Friday night's a big Magic night). We also have frequent demos in the store, as well as tournaments. The first Saturday of each month we host a Star Wars tournament; on the second and fourth Saturday, it's Magic tourny time (this schedule will change in September). In addition, we have occasional Legend of the Five Rings Tournaments, as well as Necromunda or whatever else is being heavily played at the moment.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Only the locals can rent videos (the 3-full-day rental is generous, but a challenge if you live out of state!) and you'll find an interesting variety of videos you won't find at other stores in the area. A driver's license and credit card will make you a card-carrying member of Astral Castle's video club. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>We can help you find other gamers and readers in the area. We maintain a (<a href="bits/privacy.htm">private</a>) database "matching" service to help you find folks to play the games you enjoy. Plus we try to keep tabs on every group of interest in the area (be it gamers, readers, SCA, conventions, whatever) and can help you make contact them.<br> </li> <li>There's a very active group of <a href="http://www.amtgard.com/">Amtgard</a> players in our area.
